Ok, so I got this cool little Powerbook G3: Wallstreet PB G3 Series II 300MHz 1MB 66MHz bus 256MB RAM CD-ROM (no DVD...odd) etc...
I got it running OS X, but I'm going to replace the hard drive with something faster. I already added the 256MB in but can't get 512MB to work. Does anyone know some links or specifics on how to accomplish that feat? IE, what kind of RAM is required? Also, does anyone know any tweaks to speeding up OS X on it? Aside from more RAM, CPU, etc. I did the thousand colors deal, it helped a little tiny almost unnoticeable bit. Any other suggestions, feeling on these little guys? Any fixes to watch for? Possible over-clocking? Any general information is appreciated. thanks
-Mike
