Ehum, I only wrote " from my OS 9 days" part, not your whole reply. Please make it more clear what the quoted person wrote or not. I'm glad WMP works for you, Roger. My original point however, was that freeware like VLC or Mplayer in my experience works better and with more versions of WMV. I've seen several live WMVcasts that absolutely did not work with the latest version of MS WMP under OS X, but looked and worked very nice in Mplayer (with some artifacts, to be expected from live casts). And under OS 9, in my experience WMP works very very badly. I don't remember being able to view anything on a G3 machine, but maybe it works on a G4.
