Here's one for your history books.  When AOL was young  (not so long ago), 
and I signed up for the service to get my feet wet in the  (then-*new*) WWWeb, 
AOL stated how the account would be handled, and not to open e-mail that had an 
attachment unless ..., yada, yada, etc.

Well, guess what ?   The first bill notice for the service arrived by e-mail 
(before I had set up a credit card account for direct withdrawal), and IT HAD 
AN ATTACHMENT ! ! ! ! ! !

I quickly e-mailed AOL's accounting office, questioning whether it was legit, 
and got back an embarassed response.  It was not repeated.  (;->)
