Hi, I'm new to this list. Have an issue with video card on logic board of my pismo (G3 powerbook) and a 17" Sony Trinitron.
Would someone with an external monitor and pismo please try to duplicate the issue? In mirror mode the refresh rate on the external monitor is awful. For example when open "Help Center" the window and text redraw 3 times. When I scroll photos the image accordians. The issue began when Apple replaced the logic board. Recently they replaced it again. The issue remains. An Apple tech said the 8 mb video card on a pismo is not enough to keep up with the monitor. We set the external screen at 75 hertz rather than 85.
