Hi Folks, I am looking at Comcast, broadband internet cable, the only choice in my area. Is there such a device as a combined cable modem and router? Not to my experience Must I have a cable modem AND a router to use more than one computer on my internet cable? I do, Netgear 814 router 4port ethernet/wireless Where and how does a wireless device connect into this scheme? Connect lan side of Cable modem to Wan side of Router I will get one IP address from Comcast so I will need a NAT equipped device to share the connection. Does the Airport do this? I suspect it must. It an apple, right? Can one Mac connect via ethernet cable to the modem/router and another Mac use WiFi to share the connection? That's why it is so popular. How about some Comcast approved brand name devices? Don't know, Don't tell Thanks very much. Jim. -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
