...Panther Mail and SMTP servers...

Hello All, I don't think this is off topic as I am using a 
Pismo/400/10.3.4.  I have two accounts setup in Panther Mail, they both 
work just great using my dialup account from home.  On the WiFi net at 
the Library I can receive mail from both accounts just fine but when I 
send(and the Library says I should be able to) I get the message that 
the SMTP server      smtp.mac.mail   can not be used, would I like to 
try another SMTP server.  I do NOT have a .Mac account and my two SMTP 
servers are not in the list from which I am asked to choose.  I can not 
delete the SMTP.mac.mail entry, or add the correct servers and have 
searched my machine for it and find no entry.  I have checked the Apple 
site for help and nothing is listed for this problem. Thoughts, ideas, 
experiences, ???  Thanks Jim.
