Well, I'm a touch-typist and I hit it all the time. Even the ignore accidental input feature doesn't work and I frequently end up with surprise changes to my cursor location. My only fixes are to either disable tapping (my old solution), or so-far, or use the "disble while typing" feature of the SideTrack driver I'm now using. Even with SideTrack, I still prefer the feel of the IBM Eraserhead Thingee, which to me is about the best laptop pointing device out there. I love IBM's laptop hardware and really miss my X21, if Apple ever did release an x86 version of OSX (doubtful), then I would run it on an IBM ThinkPad X40 or whatever their latest 3lb model is.
