Thank you. I am serious about digitizing sound and doing a high quality
record in the field. I am VERY new at this. Want to make a good decision.
And keep it simple. I am considering using my pismo for recording ambient
sound. I'd also like to control input as I am recording as much as possible
(don't want to do much on computer). So I guess the interface needs to plugs
for mics and knobs to adjust sound in stereo. also need lightweight and low
money

Will read article. 

What about the edirol UA-5. It's $250 or so.
