Your only option for your iBook is the Apple AirPort card. As to the base station, I've got a snow one a few months ago for around $120 on eBay. I believe they might have come down in price with the imminent release of AirPort Express. You could check on AirPort Express to see if it specifically supports 802.11b or regular AirPort. I think it does, but I'm not sure. At $129, that's pretty cheap considering what you might end up paying on eBay for a snow one, unless they significantly dropped in price. I would recommend you stay away from the first generation AirPort base stations, known sometimes as the "graphite". Their internal capacitors tend to blow after a little while. I had 2 of them that I had to replace. So far, the snow one works fine. -Laurent. -- ============================================================================ Laurent Daudelin AIM/iChat: LaurentDaudelin <http://nemesys.dyndns.org> Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] field servoid [play on `android'] /fee'ld ser'voyd/ n.: Representative of a field service organization (see field circus).
