I'm ordering a 17" powerbook. Should I get 2 sticks of 512 RAM, or 1 stick of 1GB RAM? Is there an advantage to spreading the 1 GB over the two slots? I'm thinking that if I do the 1GB stick in one slot, then I can add another one later and not have to mess with the one already there.

Second question: Can I have 512 in one slot and 1 GB in the other, or do they have to match?

I am on digest mode, so if anyone cares to answer this right now, please send it to me individually as well as to the list, so I can read it right away.

Thanks,
Claire
