I would imagine that the mail order companies are kind of "tricking" people.
I would call them again and ask them if they heard about the "Better
Business Bureau". Depending on what they say, you might want to file a
complaint with the BBB. You will need the business address of that mail
order company. File your complaint by stating that they are doing false
advertisements. If you can get 2 of their catalogs showing the same error,
then it will be hard for them to argue a "typo".

As for the text insertion moving, I guess the option to use the trackpad for
clicking is turned on in the Mouse/Keyboard preference pane. If so, make
sure that "Ignore accidental trackpad input" is also turned on. That should
take care of the problem. And keep your hands off the trackpad when you're
typing ;-)

GIGO /gi:'goh/ [acronym]: 1. `Garbage In, Garbage Out' -- usually said in
response to lusers who complain that a program didn't "do the right thing"
when given imperfect input or otherwise mistreated in some way. Also
commonly used to describe failures in human decision making due to faulty,
incomplete, or imprecise data. 2. `Garbage In, Gospel Out': this more recent
expansion is a sardonic comment on the tendency human beings have to put
excessive trust in `computerized' data.
