hi to all: i am in the market for a new scanner. i would like a compact one, but quality goes before size. i use os 10.3.4 in an ibook 500, pismo and cube. i want to make an album from pictures from a recent trip with my mom, so photo quality would be a plus, but i have photoshop 7 so i could play with that. any recommendations? i would like to know how to install system 9 after x has been installed? help! tia, gladys
I have been very happy with my Canon LiDE. It fits in my backpack with my Pismo for trips to the library. I now scan research articles rather than use a copier. It's compact, light, seems fairly rugged and I am happy with the scanned results. Price is great too. Canonscan toolbox leaves a bit to be desired but ....
