I just subscribed to Google's Beta e-mail notification service. I subscribe to various lists, but this list is the only one that showed up as cataloged by Google. Could this be where most of my spam originates?
While it could account for some, I doubt that it comes close to "most".
I use this email addr almost exclusively for mailing lists, and I've turned off Comcast's spam filters. It gets less than 1/100 of the spam that my other email addresses receive...
