Screen Dimming and the PRAM Battery

My 14" Wallstreet starts up with 10.2.8 Jaguar okay but the backlight 
goes out during the process and stays that way until I turn it up.

Is this a PRAM battery issue?
Anybody know where I can get a replacement PRAM battery? (Part Number 
616-0102 is what the PRAM battery says) It is a flat composite of six 
small "watch" type batteries connected together and attached to a lead  
and connector.

What is the normal voltage of a good PRAM battery? 6.2 volts?
