Hmmm, as far as I've seen, OS X installs everything to run the OS on any machine. For example, on my Pismo, I have all the kernel extensions for the nVidia video cards even though my Pismo only has an ATI Rage. I haven't read any report that the OS X installation on a machine was that machine specific. -Laurent. -- ============================================================================ Laurent Daudelin AIM/iChat: LaurentDaudelin <http://nemesys.dyndns.org> Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Brooks's Law prov.: "Adding manpower to a late software project makes it later" -- a result of the fact that the expected advantage from splitting development work among N programmers is O(N) (that is, proportional to N), but the complexity and communications cost associated with coordinating and then merging their work is O(N^2) (that is, proportional to the square of N).
