When I type something and want to move the cursor or click something, sometimes the trackpad won't respond for a few seconds...

Me, too. I got my PB17 two months ago. In continual use when my finger stays on the track pad, it's fine. But when I take my finger off the trackpad, even for a few seconds, sometimes it has this delay. At some "sittings" it will work fine, while at other times it does this continually. I haven't seen the common denominator yet.
