Do you guys turn off your PBs at night?

I have an AluBook 1GHz at work and I always switch it off, though leave it open. No need the wear the hinges more than I have to. I just leave it on my desk.

The other day I left it on as I had to catch a bus home and
it was still performing an upgrade and when I came in the
next day it was still warm (not hot), though I have an old
internal PC fan standing behind it on all the time and it's
raised at the back (stands on two rubbers from an old
Quadra 700).

Also, I just exchanged the battery (Apple free of charge
suspected faulty battery thing), which shows I did the right
thing switching it off.

I agree with you, better to switch a PowerBook off due to the
battery as opposed to an iMac or whatever.
