Yep, there are some of these on the market. If you can find the right model, there's an ORiNOCO one that will adapt a gold or silver card for use in a PCI slot. There's also currently a card from MacWireless.com.

Better yet, Vicki, you could pick up one of those wired-ethernet to wireless transceivers. These devices plug into your ethernet port and have an integrated wireless chipset & antenna - they turn your ethernet port into a wireless interface. They are fairly inexpensive, and they require no drivers (so they will work with any computer with an ethernet port). D-Link and Linksys make some, and I'm sure there are others.
