I'm setting up an IBM ThinkPad for my dad and as I never use a second hand computer without reinstalling the OS.
For this 650MHz Pentium III Windoze 2000 is about right, but can I reformat the harddrive from the Windoze 2000 CD ?!
Can I bollox!
I have to use a Windoze 98 CD to reformat the harddrive, then start up from the Windoze 2000 CD to re-reformat the drive back, and subsequently install Windoze 2000.
It's like having to use Mac OS 9 to reformat/reinstall OS X on a TiBook...
