Any advantage into moving to the latest version (for doing this >sort of stuff)? Is there a specific reason for staying with 3.1? BTW which flavor? Qualcomm still had Light and Pro back then. I don't remember when they discontinued Eudora Light, but once you purchased Pro, all of the new versions were free until version 4.3 as I recall. There are a ton of reasons for going all the way to 4.2 (still free for Pro owners). It would take a copyrighted manual to explain them all. The 4 or 5 top reasons IMO are: 1. A great new search/find engine -- much faster 2. Multiple accounts became simple with Personalities 3. The ability of making changes in Eudora with clickable <x-settings> 4. Better text-wrapping via something called flow-control 5. Colorized quoted text makes multi-layered messages easier to follow. >Really appreciate the help! It sure wouldn't hurt to give 4.2 1 try, unless you are using Light now and don't want to pay for Pro. But Pro is definitely worth it.
