Hi, Kristina.
Most USB peripherals will work with your Lombard's built-in USB ports - keyboards, mice, zip drive, etc., so you can find those at your local electronics store. Although USB zip drives will work, Zip drives with a SCSI interface are faster than USB ones, and you'd need an adapter to fit the (HDI-30) SCSI connector on the back of your Lombard - these can be found relatively cheaply on a list such as lowendmac.com's swap list. (see <http://www.lowendmac.com/lists/swap.html> ). The only drawback is that the SCSI zip drives will likely not be found at your local retailer, and may be hard to find as a new item elsewhere now. Again, the swap list could net you one of these very cheaply.
Your Lombard already has a 56K modem built-in - why would you need another? As to the Wacom tablet, you'd need to use USB for that; probably the Graphire3 tablet will work for you in OS9. See here for more details: <http://www.wacom.com/graphire/4x5.cfm> Note that although most of the software bundle for this model is OS9 compatible, the penPalette application is OS X only. Good luck!

I'd recommend reformatting the drive, and installing again from scratch.
Thanks Ben,
That's what I did...I am all up and running now.
Now it looks like I do need some stuf to make this my tool.
zip drive mouse modem wacom tablet
are there new compatible gizmos at say circuit city or best buy...my only electronic choices here in NW IN.
I don't have anything apple in merriville, valpo or crown point indiana. The closest would be Chicago or Indianapolis...maybe Lafayette/Purdue.
Are the webstores at the bottom of this list just as good as any?
Thanks Kristina
