Right, Apple System Profiler, tells me my built in memory, but it doesn't tell me what slots or size of each "chip". I guess one has to open it up. Cliff
Unless you are running an old version of the OS then System Profiler will tell you what each slot has. Look for a triangle next to the memory listing and click on it. The triangle should turn down and then more information will be shown.
