From: "Larry le Mac" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: iBook Ice 500 - Damaged Power input ??? Date: Sat, 15 Jan 2005 20:15:24 +0100
I have just bought a fairly cheap iBook Ice 500MHz.
The guy says the PSU blew (?) and took the iBook's power input with it, that is
- it works on battery
- does not charge - does not work off mains
He bought a new charger which he tried, no differance.
Questions: 1. Could this be simple to fix ? How ?
Nothing on the white iBooks is easy to fix. There were a few comments here recently about how many screws people had left over after going inside, and it's usually one or two of the 50 or so to remove.
