I still haven't recieved the iBook 500 that doesn't charge the battery/runoff the mains, but I will have a good look at it when it does arrive. If anyone has got any tips on how to solve this, please mail! BTW, it runs off battery ok.
I am currently using an iMac G4 1GHz for showing AVI films on a TV, but it's overkill when looking at capital value vs. usage.
I am thinking of using the iBook for Internat radio, iPod base station and playing movies onto a TV, maybe the odd e-mailing, nothing more.
Anyway, how capable is the iBook 500 of showing AVI films on a TV at full screen with MPlayer for instance ?
Min 256MB RAM, maybe 384MB.
