Thanks Carl. Actually I went ahead and bought the 7200mAh battery from OWC. Ordered from Illinois Friday, arrived UK Monday :) Haven't actually got round to installing it yet! A related issue: at the same I also bought a Micro Accessories power adaptor for the pismo. This is sold as a Powerbook G3 adaptor, and I was told that it is suitable for a pismo, but I noticed that it's rated at 65W, whereas the original Apple adaptor is 45W.
