No issues with the Distance.

Will it be shorter like the Xtreme ? Or longer like 802.11b ? ---
When I had it plugged into a Snow Base Station, I only got about a
187 kps download speed. When I upgraded to Airport Extreme, my
download speeds jumped to 378 kps.

You had
187 kbps with 11Mb/s AirPort and
378 kbps with 54Mb/s AirPort Xtreme ???

As both download speeds are much slower than the Airport
surely it can't be affected by the actual Wireless speed ???
