I was wondering if you can boot off of an external USB2 hard drive. - Rudi
My understanding is that since USB isn't shown in the device tree it can't be booted in a normal way. You can select it in Startup Disk but it won't boot. I believe some type of hack could be written to allow USB booting, but none are available AFAIK.
