First it's 'subpoena', and if your employer is doing that to your laptop, you've got more problems than whether you're using Windows, Linux or Mac OS.
Second, it's a vast leap from speccing a ruggedized system designed for vehicular use to saying 'PCs are always cheaper than Apples', which is your statement that people are taking issue with.
Your entire post was irrelevant to the point that if you compare available laptops, feature for feature you will find that, in fact, Macs ARE largely the same cost as PC's.
