I'm not 100% sure but usually, the reset switch is NOT the CUDA switch. On
my PowerMac B&W G3, the external reset switch doesn't seem to have anything
to do with the CUDA switch which is on the motherboard. However, they could
be the same thing.

Here is what Apple says about the CUDA chip:

 The Cuda is a microcontroller chip on the Power Macintosh G4 (PCI Graphics)
logic board.

and:

 The function of the Cuda chip is to:
    ?     Turn system power on and off.
    ?     Manage system resets from various commands.
    ?     Maintain parameter RAM (PRAM).
    ?     Manage the real-time clock.
