If the "C" key didn't work, I'm assuming that you didn't have the original
installation CD that came with this iBook and that might explain why it
didn't boot from it. The other option you can try is to press the option
key, or try to boot in OpenFirmware, which I think is Command + Option + O +
F simultaneously. Again, if the CD you're trying to boot from is the
appropriate for the type of iBook you have, then no combination of keys will
ever help...
