15" Powerbook will not leave you dangling while on the road and the G5 is at homesometimes it's not :) need the portability for work and travel.

No way, and if it did your PB would still be valuable they tend to hold value more then DT'sand iB's

Get what you need and get the best, it's your business right
G5 is going to take care of the heavy work
the 15" PBfor travel, backup and road work.
If cost is a factor I would still get the G5 DT and a cheaper ibook for travel
