I was running iTunes with the visualizer on. When I quit everything on the screen had a grey tint to it. All the backgrounds that were supposed to be white were then grey. The desktop pix had a grey cast to it. Every app has grey menu bars. Etc.

When I restart the system, the grey goes away.

I'm running OS X 10.3.8 on an Aluminum Powerbook with a gig of ram.

Any ideas what's going on and how to keep it from happening?

TIA

Peter
