I'm aware that the WS is ancient, the issue that I have is that I have installed Panther by removing the powerbooks hardrive and loading it into a firewire drive attached to a supported computer...after putting the HD back in the powerbook it works fine, booting into Panther with no prob...this is just odd...I can install Tiger on my iPod and boot from it! The powerbook's hardrive (with Tiger) will start up on a desktop but not on my wallstreet.....didn't have this issue with Panther...
