I've had 2 twelve inch PowerBooks, a 1.0 GHz and the new 1.5 GHz, both made
in China, and both of excellent build quality.  If anything, I think the new
one is a bit better put together than the old one was.  The keyboard is
lighter, but equally good, and annoyances on the old one like the screen
moving a bit even when latched were fixed on the new model.
