um, no. after talking about this with my wife (whose puter it was until I broke it) we (she) has decided that due to certain factors: 1) it will most likely be an unstable at best system once fixed, 2) it will cost around $100 just to find out, and 3) will will have to spend another $100 to get Jaguar, we are going to go on ahead and buy a new one..... and not drop it this time.
But.... if there is anyone interested in buying a scrap iBook for parts, like a working display, let me know.
