It's considerably slower, naturally, than my G5 iMac running Tiger.

Has anyone installed Tiger on this generation of iBook and, if so, does
it run faster, slower, or about the same as Panther?

If there's no speed improvement, then I'll just leave this one where it
is, with 10.3.9.

I am running Tiger on an iBook 600 Mhz with 640 MB of RAM. And it is faster than Panther was!
