Hello all,
My Pismo has been acting a little "sketchy" lately. That's the best
way to describe it. Basically, all of the animations in OS X that are
normally smooth and sleek, are now jumpy and quick. Not sure what's up
here. Maybe I'm being too picky? Maybe the hard drive is snagging?
I'm not too sure yet. Example: In Safari, when you select Print, the
window kinda "rolls" down. . .now it just "pops" down instantly. . .no
roll anymore. Any ideas? I'm running 10.3.9 with a gig of RAM and a
G3/500. Thanks for any input,
Zoltan

Zoltan,
Have you checked your CPU usage? I had some "sketchy" and slow behavior
and found out one of my background programs started to hog up to 80% of
the CPU. I quit that program and things went back to normal.
Also have any of your appearance preferences changed? Maybe 'use smooth
scrolling'?
