Hmmm, it has a new hard disk...installed by my ownself with much online
handholding with the G-list demigods.

I haven't really been moving it around, tho it is a portable...

I hope its not  hard ware trouble, I'd rather get a new CD/DVD RW, and make
it burn CD's.  Time will tell, especially  when it sleeps a long time.

It is currently behaving, so maybe the last  RESTART was the winner?
