There really is little better [in 0&1-land, at least] than getting printserving up and running thanks for GIMP print and friends. I've been driving myself batty doing it, as my inkjet is one of the very few not supported by Gimp Print (a Lexmark Z22; don't buy if you want to print from Windows, ever!) and, as soon as my unmothballed ImageWriter was up and running, my Beige G3 bit it.
