I finally got one of my powerbooks working. I traded an older iMac for a box of powerbooks and parts in "unknown" condition. I managed to get this out of it so far:
Wallstreet rev I 250MHz 98MB 2GB 14" 2MB VRAM 2 working batteries, testing a 3rd Working CD-ROM I've drawn up a few plans for it. First it's going to get a new paint job, orange with black trim :) But if I'm going to make it look pretty I need to make it faster. I have enough parts for maybe 2 more Wallstreet 2's if I can get CPU's for them. I want to get some other upgrades that would cross over between the two. Specifically hard drive, ram, wireless card, CPU, and USB. I have an idea of what to get but don't know where to start. Any suggestions on what parts to get, where to look, etc would be great. I'm looking for cheap stuff! Thanks for all the help! Mike Kauspedas >Mindaugas< Save Our LAN! www.coloradogameralliance.com -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
