If your iBook only have USB like I suspect, then you won't be able to
boot
in FireWire target disk mode. If I'm wrong, then you reboot your iBook
and
then press the 'T' key immediately until you see the FireWire logo on
the
screen. Then, you just connect both iBook with a FireWire cable.
Again, I'm
not sure that the 700MHz has FireWire, so what I've just explained
might be
a moot point...
You might have to contact Apple to get Tiger on CDs. I think there is a
small fee for that. You should be able to find more information about
this
on the Apple web site.

Hi:
Yes the 700 Mhz iBook does have a FireWire port between the ethernet
connection and the USB ports. I see the familiar Y underneath it.
Which iBook do I boot up into target mode, the one with the combo drive
or the one with the CD-ROM?
