If your machine can handle it, I would try to upgrade the operating
system to 9.9.2. That may solve your problem. If not, then I would
reinstall the system you have on there (or do a install in place -
think thing that option is there. I'm not sure, it's been a while since
I messed with classic.)

1 - the extension "shared library manager ppc" has gone funky and

the installation, though 8 and 8.3.4 do (they were there before)
basically it feels like i've disabled my computer!
i'm running 9.1 on a 3400. any help would be *greatly* appreciated!
