The iBook in FireWire target disk mode with a PCMCIA FireWire card for the Wallstreet would work and would be faster. Not sure about the Ethernet port sensing on the iBook. I know that this started appearing with some Titanium PowerBooks but don't know if and when it made it on the iBook line. The FireWire path is the fastest, though, but the network one is definitely the cheapest if you only have to buy an Ethernet crossover cable. I would first try with a regular Ethernet cable. Then, if it doesn't work, get a crossover cable. -Laurent. -- ======================================================================== Laurent Daudelin Developer, Multifamily, ESO, Fannie Mae mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Washington, DC, USA ************************ Usual disclaimers apply *********************** -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
