That's just plain wrong. I've been using ebay with Safari since
Panther came out and haven't had any problems whatsoever. The support

iCab has this option also, if it's needed. I don't see that in
FireFox tho.
It's an extension for Firefox. Just search for it on the extensions
page. Safari also has this option if you enable the "Debug" menu by
typing this line into Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
To turn it off, you simply type:
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 0
