It is a VERY good idea to always discharge a LiIon battery fully. A LiIon
battery like in the PowerBook Wallstreet is good for about 1,000 charge
cycles. Even if you discharge the battery only a fraction of its capacity
and then charge it again, this will count as a charge cycle. You reduce the
lifespan of the battery significantly when charging it again before it's
empty.
