Hi.

I am trying too overclock my beige G3 300MHZ Mini Tower
I have got all the info on the jumper settings. When i change the settings
my Mac wont start up. It does not matter what setting i try ( it wont even
go down too 266mh i tried that too). When i put the jumpers in the origenal
setting everything is ok. and it starts up like nothing happend.

What could be the reson for this:

1. Do i need to have Firmware installed.
2. Does this in any way have anything to do with the Reset button on the
mother board(do i have to push it after changing the jumpers)
3. Do i have to boot from a CD rom drive
4. Do i need som special software for this.
or could there be some basic thing i have to do before i move the jumpers.

I have been looking fore firmware for Beige Macs but I cant find it
anywere(versiontrakcer or apple.com)
does anyone have it ?

if anyone could help me whith that that would save the week for me and my
old Beige buddy.

Thanks
