Well, I do believe my external scsi ZIP drive has unzipped it's last ZIP.
I'm not sure if it's the 'click of death' or what. I put in a disk
yesterday (wondering at the time how much longer the drive was going to
last. . . bad thought) and it clicked once, whirred, stopped and nothing
came up on my desktop. Tried one other disk, nothing again. The drive
shows up in System Profiler, but even w/a disk in it, it shows 'no disk
inserted' or something like that.

1st question: anything I can do to resurrect the drive?

2nd question: anything Iomega will do about this? (yeah... right... koff,
koff)

3rd question: Is an internal or external better? I need the ZIP, have one
on my Wallstreet and also have 15 or so ZIP disks w/info on them. (also
have a scsi CDRW). I know the internal is cheaper, but also know I don't
have the bezel on the front of my G4 for the ZIP. http://www.pidrus.com
wants $17.99 for the bezel plus shipping. Anything cheaper? Yes, I'm
looking.

Thanks in advance...
