Is this 9gig an IBM DDRS-39130 on an AHA-2940b? I had that one.
Real crappy drive. Its buffer is only 384k apparently. When
benchmarking, I got about the right numbers for the random reads, but
sustained were down at about 11MBps. Dropped a 10gig IDE (2MB
buffer) onto the ATA/33 bus and I get sustained reads of about
20MBps. So I bought an IBM 10k drive with 2MB of buffer. Haven't
benched it yet.
