You have to buy the AppleCare technician training kit from Apple for 
$299. Once you completed your self -paced study you can contact the 
organization to take your test. There are two tests to take one for 
Powermacs and one for Powerbooks. You have to pay to take the tests. So 
if the company wants you to be certified make them pay for all this. Be 
warned if the company you work for is not an authorized Apple repair 
depot you can not call Apple to order parts or ask for assistance. You 
can buy the Applecare Technician Training kit from Apple at the Apple 
Store at Apple.com under Applecare.
