I presume that, when one mistakenly reinstalls system software, the 
installer stupidly *replaces* your old Internet Explorer Favo(u)rites 
file and does not delete the old one and add a new one?

I know the answer already. I have hosed my Favo(u)rites. It's killing me.

Please, no advice to back up. I know already. Advice on getting my 
Faves back is what I want.
